Versailles captures an atmosphere as refined as it is whimsical: a garden created from scratch to entertain and enchant a king, his court and his friends. The candle is made from 100% vegetable wax with a wick of pure cotton. It is biodegradable, hypoallergenic and contains no pesticides. The candle has a total burn time of 55-60 hours.

Trudon is the oldest candle manufacturer in the world. In 1643, Claude Trudon became the owner of a store on Rue Saint-Honoré where he developed his business as a candle manufacturer. His candles was bought by both parishes as well as private households. Hence, in the beginning of Louis XIV's reign, Claude Trudon created a company that would lay the base for his family's fortune.
