Newark Armchair Fudge

Stylish armchair made from aniline leather, which is a pure and untreated leather, which means that during the 5 week tanning process, the patina on the leather has occurred through the natural oils. No pigment is used, which means that the natural grain and markings in the leather can shine through. Each of the natural defects in the leather is clearly visible, such as scars, spots (speckling), creases and shadows, giving the leather distinctive and characteristic features. Because it is a natural material, an aniline leather breathes better than a lesser, more treated leather.
Untreated aniline leather is also the most expensive leather in the world, because only the very best skins are used. Each skin, and therefore each item of furniture, is unique.
