Product information

A woman sunbathing in a motorboat as it tows a waterskier, in the sea off the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes on the French Riviera, August 1969.

In the picturesque setting of the French Riviera’s Antibes, captured through the lens of Slim Aarons in August 1969, we find a scene that epitomizes the essence of leisure and lux- ury. Nestled amidst the azure waters of the Mediterranean, the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc serves as a backdrop, its grandeur echoing the opulence of the era.

A woman, draped in elegance and confidence, reclines on a motorboat’s sun-kissed deck, epitomizing the carefree spirit of the jet-set lifestyle. With eyes closed, she basks in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun, a vision of serenity amidst the bus- tling playground of the elite.

This snapshot in time encapsulates the allure of Antibes in the late 1960s, where the boundaries between relaxation and adventure blur against a backdrop of unparalleled beauty and sophistication.
