The sumptuous Moorish villa of Hector and Chico de Ayala (he was once Cuba´s ambassador to France), lies inland from Marbella, at the foot of the Sierra Blancas. Hector and Chico de Ayala were two of the most prominent and wealthy aristo­crats in Spain, known for their love of luxury and their dedication to preserving the country’s cultural heritage. Their Marbella estate was one of the most exclu­sive and elegant homes in the region, known for its beautiful gardens, stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, and opulent amenities.
