Thomson is an elegant candlestick with an antique silver-plated finish, developed in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and inspired by American silversmithing from the early 19th century. The slender silhouette and subtle details reflect the restrained elegance that characterized the so-called Federal period in the United States.

The design is based on an original work by the silversmith William Thomson, who was active in New York during the first half of the 19th century. In this reinterpretation, historical precision and modern function meet in a decorative object with timeless character. Thomson works equally well as a standalone accent or in pairs and adds a sophisticated, classic feel to dining tables, shelves and side tables.
