A chair made of exclusive, solid American oak in the colour Rich Brown Drifted Oak, with a seat made of traditionally woven, natural-coloured rattan. Inspired by the incredibly popular café chair that can be seen in all of Europe’s most beautiful cities, this eminently practical dining chair has a crossed back made of exclusive, solid oak. Also comes in Burnt Oak, Brown Drifted Oak, Black Drifted Oak, White Drifted Oak. The chairs have been created as a tribute to the Bentwood tradition started by Thonet in early 20th-century Austria. Bentwood objects are made by either soaking or steaming the wood, which is then bent and allowed to harden into curved shapes and patterns.
