The InterContinental Carlton Cannes is a historic luxury hotel located on the French Riviera in Cannes. The hotel was built in 1911 and has been a fixture of the Cannes landscape ever since. The hotel is known for its stunning Belle Epoque architecture, its luxurious accommodations, and its prime location on the Boulevard de la Croisette, just steps from the Mediterranean Sea. The InterContinental Carlton Cannes is famous for hosting movie stars from around the world during the annual Cannes Film Festival and has played host to countless celebrities and high-profile guests over the years, and it remains one of the most iconic hotels in the world.

The hotel was a central location for the Alfred Hitchcock film To Catch a Thief, starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. While staying at the Carlton during the 1955 Cannes Film Festival, Kelly had an arranged meeting and photo shoot with Prince Rainier III of Monaco; they married in 1956.
