The silent role of the doormat in our homes
At every entrance, often overlooked but constantly present, the doormat is ready to perform its silent service. It is the home's first line of defense, capturing dirt, dust, and gravel, and keeping our interior clean. But its significance extends beyond the practical. Through its colors, patterns, and messages, it provides insight into the soul of the home and those who live there. A well-chosen doormat can set the tone for the entire residence, signaling warmth, humor, or perhaps a traveler's sense of adventure. In a world where first impressions count, something as simple as a doormat can make a big difference.

A stylish doormat gives your home a welcoming and cozy feeling. At Newport you’ll find doormats in high quality and various styles.

Door mats - Exclusive door mats - Newport

Doormats

Kerala is made from handspun jute and woven in bouclé technique, resulting in a dense and hard-wearing texture. The subdued surface creates a harmonious, timeless appearance that suits many types of entrances. The yarn combines the jute's natural tones with colored shades that together give depth and life to the mat's texture. The robust quality makes it well suited for daily use and effectively helps to trap dirt and dust. The natural latex backing keeps the mat securely in place and protects the floor, while the turned-under edges help extend its lifespan.
